The Story
When I envision a community, this is what I see.
In this composition, each individual dons a mandala headdress that symbolizes their own personal journey towards enlightenment. Some have different experiences, while others share similar experiences (marked by the distinct patterns and colors).
And side by side, they work harmoniously with one another.
In the diversity of perspectives, we broaden our understanding of the world within our self and beyond.

‘Contemplation’ Exhibition at Eissey Theatre (February 19, 2025 - March 28, 2025)
Contemplation Series
“As we journey through life, we find ourselves cocooned in contemplation at various junctions — in search of enlightenment and some form of understanding of ourselves.
This journey is symbolized by the mandala crowning our heads. Each of us have different and maybe similar rings of sacred truths which we have uncovered in our contemplative wanderings. Truths that we have come to realize makes us who we are as individuals. And as a community, we create a lush kaleidoscopic landscape of experiences to explore.
In our contemplation, we evolve and draw closer to being our most authentic selves. That’s the beauty of the process.“
