Eissey Theatre
Anntidote’s 1st Solo Exhibition at ‘Eissey Campus Theatre’ was a dream come true.
Exhibition Title: ‘Contemplation’
Exhibition Date: February 19 - March 28, 2025.
Exhibition Description:
“As we journey through life, we find ourselves cocooned in contemplation at various junctions — in search of enlightenment and some form of understanding of ourselves.
This journey is symbolized by the mandala crowning our heads. Each of us have different and maybe similar rings of sacred truths which we have uncovered in our contemplative wanderings. Truths that we have come to realize makes us who we are as individuals. And as a community, we create a lush kaleidoscopic landscape of experiences to explore.
In our contemplation, we evolve and draw closer to being our most authentic selves. That’s the beauty of the process.“
A collection of 13 paintings, graced the theatre’s lobby.
With a few sold-out shows on its calendar during the duration of the exhibition, I felt thrilled at the thought that hundreds of people experienced this body of work.
The highlight for me, as the artist, in any exhibition is the chance to converse with the viewer and to hear how they are experiencing the work…
To witness how the work speaks them, and learning their interpretation of each one…
My hope and dream morphed into my reality this day, and I feel truly honored to be given this space for my work to breathe and be seen…
Thank you, Eissey Campus Theatre for this wonderful opportunity!
