Walk the Line
I gaze upon the galaxy, wishing
Upon the cluster of stars
For one isn’t enough, I feel
To secure my future
And I see the council of sparkles
Debating my fate
Their signals, beautiful
Against the azure sky.
Here I sit, cross-legged
Appealing for assistance
Beyond the sphere I’m in
Bridging dreams to reality
Or so I’m inclined to believe
Is this all insanity?
I sort through the mess in my mind
For the ‘good’, something useful
One that could convert into a dime, or two
The sands of time is not on my side
But I’ve got to find it, I must
Before the clock whistles – deadline.
